PROVE 'EM WRONG

DEVELOP COURAGE FOR COMMITMENT

Everybody wants the prize, but nobody loves the process. Everybody wants to be a champion, but nobody's willing to put in the work that it takes to be a champion. Everybody wants to hold up the trophy and say, man I did it, but nobody's willing to put in the work that it takes to do it. I love the process. I love the thought of working for what I want. And I firmly believe you're never supposed to wish for it more than you're willing to work for it.  Your expectations are never supposed to exceed your effort. But a lot of people, they wish and they're not willing to work. And the great thing about life, life has a funny way of testing all of us and seeing how bad we really want what it is that we say we want. What if you get weak along the way? And you throw in the towel on yourself, you surrender to your emotions, what then? A lot of people become discouraged, they become frustrated, and they say oh, what the heck. And they go back to doing what they were doing bef...

BE DISCIPLINED IN YOUR WORK

Every decision that you make has consequences. Are you making yourself better or are you making yourself worse? Are you moving forward or are you moving back? Are you making progress or are you stagnating? Every little decision you make counts. There are no shortcuts, there are no hacks. If you wanna take the easy road, I promise you it's longer and more painful than the hard road. If you set out and you say you gonna do something, do yourself a favor and don't lie to yourself. Because that is the worst thing that a individual can ever do.  You think you're lying to your peers, you think you're lying to your mother, you think you're lying to your teacher, you think you're lying to your coach, at the end of the day when you look in the mirror, you lying to you. In 10 years from now, nobody can do anything for you, that's gonna be the life that you created, not anybody else. You make your bed, you gotta lay in it. Let other people blame their parents, their bo...

WHY WE SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP ?

The following are true stories. May 26, 2003, Aron Ralston was hiking, a boulder fell on his right hand. He waited four days, then he amputated his own arm with a pocket knife. On New Year's Eve, a woman was bungee jumping in Zimbabwe, the cord broke, she then fell into a river and had to swim back to land in crocodile infested waters with a broken collarbone. The most amazing part of these stories is when asked about the experience, they all smiled, shrugged and said, I guess things could've been worse.  When your day is a museum of disappointments hanging from events that were outside of your control, when you find yourself flailing in an ocean of why is this happening to me, when it feels like your guardian angel put in his 2 week notice 2 months ago and just decided not to tell you, when it feels like God is a babysitter that's always on the phone, when you get punched in the esophagus by a fist full of life, remember, that you will survive, remember, things could be wo...
